This group asks which team will score the first goal in a soccer match between FK Shakhtar Donetsk and FK Chornomorets Odesa. The market resolves based on the first goal scored during the 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time.
In the upcoming match between FK Shakhtar Donetsk and FK Chornomorets Odesa, scheduled for September 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM ET: This market will resolve to "FK Shakhtar Donetsk" if FK Shakhtar Donetsk are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. This market will resolve to "FK Chornomorets Odesa" if FK Chornomorets Odesa are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. If neither team scores within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, this market will resolve "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.
This market resolves to "YES" if the listed club wins after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalty shootouts, in the match scheduled for September 10, 2026, 16:45 UTC. Otherwise, it will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "NO." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and aim to profit by balancing action on both sides. Prediction markets, however, allow individuals to trade based on their own information and beliefs, leading to odds that can be more accurate, especially as the event approaches. The difference in odds can also stem from differing levels of liquidity and the types of participants involved in each venue. This market offers a unique way to gauge the likelihood of either team scoring first.
Several signals could influence this market before resolution. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Shakhtar or Chornomorets would likely cause a shift in probabilities. Changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a recent match, could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions on match day, or even tactical announcements from the managers, might also move the market. Finally, significant volume entering the market on either side, perhaps driven by a well-known trader, could create momentum and alter the odds in this market.
