Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. For exact score markets like this one, sportsbooks typically offer limited scoreline options with fixed odds, whereas prediction markets allow traders to price every possible outcome dynamically. Prediction market prices tend to shift more fluidly as new information surfaces, making them responsive to team news, injuries, or tactical changes. Comparing the two can reveal where public perception and trader consensus differ most significantly.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probabilities for each exact score outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell shares corresponding to specific scorelines, and the cumulative trading pressure moves prices up or down. The platform displays the implied probability for each result, allowing you to see at a glance which scores the market considers most likely. Prices update continuously as new trades execute, ensuring the market reflects the latest consensus among active traders on the platform.
This market resolves around Jul 23, 2026, once the FK Polissia versus København match concludes and the final score is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact scoreline at the end of regular time, and traders who correctly predicted that final score receive their payout. Until the match is played and the result is confirmed, this market remains open for trading, allowing you to adjust your position or enter new trades as match day approaches and new information becomes available.
Several catalysts can shift prices in this market before Jul 23, 2026. Team news such as injuries to key players, lineup announcements, or tactical changes often trigger repricing as traders adjust their score predictions. Recent form, head-to-head history, and any off-field developments affecting either club can influence how traders view the likely outcome. Weather conditions and venue factors may also matter for a football match. As match day draws closer, late-breaking information—such as confirmed lineups or last-minute roster decisions—typically generates the most volatile price movements, making the final hours before kickoff a period of active trading.
