Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a ‘vig’ or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, however, is driven purely by the collective predictions of traders, theoretically offering a more accurate reflection of true probabilities. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on team statistics and expert analysis, this market dynamically adjusts as new information and opinions emerge, potentially revealing insights that differ from those presented by conventional betting outlets. It's common to see discrepancies, especially as the event draws nearer.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring, as perceived by the market participants. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. This creates a dynamic and real-time assessment of the likelihood of either Macva Sabac or Mladost Lucani scoring first. The current trading volume and price fluctuations reflect the evolving sentiment of those participating in this market.

This market resolves around Sep 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on which team scores the first goal in the Macva Sabac vs. Mladost Lucani match. If no goal is scored, the market will resolve as ‘no’ – meaning neither team scored first. The official match records will be used to determine the definitive outcome, ensuring a transparent and verifiable resolution process. Traders should monitor official sources for the final result to understand the market's settlement.

Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either Macva Sabac or Mladost Lucani would likely cause significant movement. Changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a recent match, could also shift trader sentiment. Even weather conditions on match day, like heavy rain or strong winds, might impact expectations and affect the odds. Unexpected tactical decisions announced by either team’s manager before the game could also lead to price fluctuations in this market.
