Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market is driven purely by traders’ beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, it may indicate that the market perceives information differently than the sportsbook, or that one venue has a more informed or active trading base. Examining these differences can be a valuable exercise for anyone interested in the Livyi Bereh vs. Polissia match.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each team scoring first. The price of these shares fluctuates based on supply and demand. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders believe a particular outcome is likely, the price of shares representing that outcome will increase, and vice versa. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market odds reflect the collective intelligence of all participants trading on Polymarket.

This market resolves around Sep 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be determined by identifying which team scores the first goal in the Livyi Bereh vs. Polissia match. The official match records will be used to verify the result. Traders who correctly predicted the first scoring team will be paid out according to the final market odds at the time of resolution, while those who predicted incorrectly will forfeit their shares.
