On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders collectively set the odds for each possible exact score through buying and selling shares. The current implied probability for each score reflects the share price relative to the total market liquidity. For instance, if one score trades at a high share price, its implied chance rises accordingly. This decentralized mechanism allows rapid price adjustments based on new insights or shifts in trader confidence, often producing odds that diverge from traditional sportsbooks.
This market resolves around Aug 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the match result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact final score reported by authoritative sports news outlets and official league records will determine which traders hold winning positions. As the event date approaches, any last-minute changes — such as referee decisions or late goals — will be reflected instantly in the confirmed result.
Injuries to key players, weather conditions affecting play, and tactical announcements from coaches can all shift trader sentiment and move this market. Updates from pre-match press conferences, recent team performance trends, and even early-game events once the match starts may cause rapid price swings. As the game progresses, goals, red cards, or changes in momentum will most directly impact the odds for each possible exact score, especially altering the probabilities for the leading outcomes.
