On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into continuous bid-ask spreads. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Participants buy or sell shares representing each outcome, and the price of each share reflects the collective probability assigned by active traders. As new information emerges or match conditions shift, traders adjust positions, moving prices in real time. The mechanism ensures transparent, friction-reduced pricing without reliance on a traditional bookmaker.
This market resolves around Jul 25, 2026, once the match concludes and the first goal is verified. The outcome is determined by credible public reporting of the match result. Whichever team is confirmed to have scored the opening goal triggers the corresponding payout. Until that point, traders can adjust positions as the event unfolds and new information becomes available.
Several factors could shift odds before the match begins. Team news—injuries, lineup changes, or tactical announcements—often triggers repricing as traders reassess each side's attacking threat. Weather conditions, venue factors, and recent form updates can also influence expectations around early scoring patterns. Once play starts, early match momentum, possession patterns, and attacking opportunities will drive rapid price adjustments. Traders monitor all these signals to identify when the market has mispriced the probability of an early goal.
