Frequently asked questions

On Limitless, the BLAST Bounty Stage 1 overtime maps market dashboard tracks real-time odds and historical price movement for whether five or more maps with overtime will be played during the event. The dashboard displays current market sentiment, 24-hour volume activity, and outcome probabilities as traders buy and sell positions. This live data reflects the collective forecast of the prediction market community regarding map count and overtime frequency at the tournament stage. You can monitor how odds shift as matches are scheduled, teams are announced, or tournament details emerge.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and generate profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show higher or lower implied probabilities than traditional sportsbooks, depending on whether traders believe the consensus underestimates or overestimates the likelihood of five or more overtime maps. Comparing the two can reveal where market participants see value relative to conventional betting lines.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit buy and sell orders at their chosen odds. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the most recent matched trade, and the spread between bid and ask represents the gap between buyers and sellers. As new information about the tournament emerges—such as team rosters, map pools, or format changes—traders adjust their positions, moving the price up or down. Deeper liquidity typically narrows the spread and allows larger trades to execute with less slippage.

This market resolves around Jul 24, 2026, once the BLAST Bounty Stage 1 event concludes and the final map count is verifiable. The outcome is determined by counting all maps played during the stage, including those that go to overtime. If five or more maps with overtime are played across all matches, the 'Yes' outcome wins; otherwise, 'No' prevails. Resolution is confirmed once the event results are verified against credible public reporting from the tournament organizers or established esports news sources.

Several factors could shift odds significantly before resolution. Tournament format announcements—such as best-of-three versus best-of-five series structures—directly affect the expected number of maps played. Team roster changes or surprise upsets could lead to closer, more competitive matches that are more likely to reach overtime. Map pool updates or bans by tournament organizers may influence which maps are contested and their overtime likelihood. Additionally, early-stage match results showing high overtime frequency would push odds upward, while blowout victories would suggest fewer overtime maps and move the market lower.
