Prediction market odds on Kalshi often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect a different participant base and incentive structure. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and profit; prediction markets aggregate beliefs from traders risking real capital. For Finland vs Norway, comparing Kalshi prices to major sportsbooks can reveal where the crowd on each venue disagrees. Prediction markets sometimes lead sportsbooks when new information surfaces, while sportsbooks may adjust faster due to professional sharp action. Tracking both sources helps identify mispricings and sentiment shifts.
