Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both platforms measure the same match event (Feyenoord vs Groningen, April 25, 2026) using identical time scope (90 minutes plus stoppage time, no extra time or penalties) and reference the same official source (Eredivisie governing body).
Primary resolution logic:
Official Eredivisie match statistics (eredivisie.nl); if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible consensus reporting from major sports news outlets.
Core resolution logic:
Match outcome determined by goals scored in 90 minutes plus stoppage time only
Feyenoord win resolves Yes if Feyenoord score more goals than Groningen
Groningen win resolves Yes if Groningen score more goals than Feyenoord
Draw resolves Yes if both teams score equal goals
Kalshi total goals markets resolve Yes if combined goals exceed specified threshold (1.5, 2.5, 3.5, or 4.5)
Extra time and penalty shootouts are excluded from all resolutions
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If match is postponed, Polymarket outcome markets remain open until match is completed; Kalshi markets similarly remain open pending completion.
Match Cancellation (No Makeup): If match is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, Polymarket outcome markets (Feyenoord win, Groningen win) resolve No; Polymarket draw market resolves Yes. Kalshi goal markets have no explicit cancellation clause and would follow platform default (typically no resolution or voiding).
Official Stats Delay: If Eredivisie does not publish final statistics within 2 hours of match conclusion, credible reporting consensus from major sports outlets may be used as secondary source.
Timing:
Resolution occurs after match completion (90 minutes plus stoppage time). Official stats or consensus determination must be finalized within 2 hours post-match for immediate settlement; markets remain open if stats are delayed.
