This market will resolve to "YES" if Bruno Fernandes is officially credited with an assist for a Cristiano Ronaldo goal in any of Portugal's 2026 FIFA World Cup group stage matches. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." The assist will be verified using the "Ast" column for Bruno Fernandes in the Portugal Player Stats section of the FBRef.com match report. The assist being credited to a Cristiano Ronaldo goal will be verified using the Match Summary section of the same report. Own goals do not count as Ronaldo goals for the purposes of this market. This market will resolve as soon as a qualifying assist is recorded, or after Portugal's group stage matches are completed by June 28, 2026. If Portugal's remaining group stage matches are not played and completed with an official result by July 31, 2026, 23:59 UTC, this market will resolve to "NO." If the data on the website is unavailable for 72 hours after the relevant match is completed, a consensus of credible reporting will be used.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they serve different purposes and audiences. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and generate profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may reflect sharper or more granular probability estimates than traditional sportsbooks offer, since traders can buy and sell fractional shares based on their conviction. Comparing this market's implied probability to major sportsbook lines can reveal whether the crowd expects a higher or lower likelihood than bookmakers price in.
On Limitless, traders set prices by buying and selling shares that represent yes or no outcomes. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current price reflects the collective assessment of whether Fernandes will assist a Ronaldo goal in group play, with each share worth a fixed amount at resolution. As new information emerges—team lineups, fitness updates, or tactical shifts—traders adjust their positions, moving the price up or down. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market price remains responsive to changing expectations throughout the tournament.
This market resolves around Jun 28, 2026, once the 2026 World Cup group stage concludes and all outcomes are verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by whether Fernandes records an assist on a Ronaldo goal at any point during the group-stage matches. Resolution hinges on official match records and goal-scoring data from the tournament, ensuring clarity and finality once the group phase ends.
Several catalysts could shift this market significantly before resolution. Team selection announcements and squad composition will influence both players' availability and likely minutes. Injury updates or form changes for either Fernandes or Ronaldo could alter expectations of their on-field chemistry and output. Group-stage draw details, opponent strength, and tactical formations will shape how frequently they interact in attacking situations. Early tournament results and individual performances during group matches will provide real-time data that traders incorporate, causing price swings as the event unfolds.
