This market predicts the winner of the second set in the professional tennis match between Felix Gill and Marco Trungelliti at the 2026 ATP Eastbourne Qualification Round 1 on June 21. The market resolves based on which player wins set 2 of the match.
The market resolves to Yes if either Felix Gill or Marco Trungelliti wins set 2 in their professional tennis match at the 2026 ATP Eastbourne Qualification Round 1. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are resolved to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and profit, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show different implied probabilities than traditional sports betting sites, particularly if one venue has sharper information flow or higher trading volume. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus is strongest and where outlier views persist, though each reflects genuine market-clearing prices in its own venue.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through continuous trading where buyers and sellers establish the odds for each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders submit orders to back or lay either player as the set winner, and the platform matches them to create a live market price. The current implied probability reflects the last executed trade and pending orders in the order book. As new information emerges or match conditions change, traders adjust their positions, causing the price to move in real time and revealing updated market expectations.
This market resolves around Jun 21, 2026, once the Felix Gill versus Marco Trungelliti match concludes and the set 2 winner is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which player wins the second set in their match. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell positions as odds fluctuate. Resolution is automatic once the event result is confirmed, and all positions settle according to the final outcome.
Several factors could shift odds in this market before resolution. Player form and recent match results leading up to the event may influence trader confidence in either competitor. Injury reports, weather conditions, or court surface details could alter perceived advantage. Head-to-head history and set-specific performance patterns often attract trader attention. Real-time match momentum during set 1 typically drives significant repricing, as traders update their beliefs based on how the match unfolds. Late-breaking news or odds movements on related markets can also cascade into this one.
