This market tracks the total number of games played in the Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Novak Djokovic quarterfinal match at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles tournament. Longer matches with more sets and closer set scores will result in higher game totals.
Resolution is based on the total number of completed games across the full match between Felix Auger-Aliassime and Novak Djokovic in the 2026 Wimbledon Men Singles Quarterfinal on July 7. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to fair price. If postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are settled at Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price outcomes differently because they operate under distinct incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market reflects what traders collectively believe about total games, which may diverge from sportsbook lines due to different liquidity, participant expertise, and risk management approaches. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs or where one venue perceives mispricing.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for contracts representing different total game outcomes. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each contract reflects the probability traders assign to that outcome, with higher prices indicating greater confidence. As new information emerges—such as player injury reports or recent performance data—traders adjust their positions, moving prices in real time. Liquidity and trading volume on the platform directly influence how quickly prices respond to new signals.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the match concludes and the final game count is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the total number of games played across all sets, counted according to standard tennis scoring rules. Resolution occurs after the match result is officially confirmed, ensuring accuracy before payouts are distributed to winning traders.
Several factors can shift odds in this market before the match begins. Injury announcements or withdrawal news involving either player would immediately reprrice expectations around match length and intensity. Recent head-to-head records, surface conditions, and tournament draw positioning also influence trader sentiment about how many games are likely to be played. Court speed, weather forecasts, and any last-minute changes to player fitness or mental readiness can trigger volatility as traders reassess their total-games estimates.
