This market tracks the outcome of the third set in the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Quarterfinal between Felix Auger-Aliassime and Novak Djokovic on July 7. The market resolves based on which player wins the set.
The market resolves to Yes if either Felix Auger-Aliassime or Novak Djokovic wins set 3 of their 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Quarterfinal match. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open until the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are resolved to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders who have real money at stake. For this match, comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal whether professional bettors and casual traders disagree on the likelihood of each outcome. Such differences may highlight undervalued or overvalued positions worth investigating further.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the implied probability that outcome will occur, ranging from near zero to near 100 cents. As traders submit orders, prices adjust in real time based on supply and demand. This dynamic pricing ensures the market stays responsive to breaking news, player form, or any other factors that might influence the third set's result.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the match concludes and the third-set winner is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which player wins the majority of games in that set according to official tournament records. Until that point, prices may fluctuate based on live match developments, player performance, and trader sentiment. Resolution is final once the event data is confirmed and the platform processes the settlement.
Several factors could shift odds before the match begins or during play. Pre-match developments include recent form, head-to-head records, court surface conditions, and any injury updates. Once play starts, the outcome of the first two sets will heavily influence third-set expectations, since momentum and fatigue play major roles in tennis. Real-time match statistics, such as serve percentages, break-point conversions, and set scores, will drive trader activity and repricing. Weather delays or unexpected player issues could also trigger volatility in this market.
