This market tracks the outcome of the second set in the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Quarterfinal between Felix Auger-Aliassime and Novak Djokovic on July 7. The market resolves based on which player wins the set.
The market resolves to Yes if either Felix Auger-Aliassime or Novak Djokovic wins set 2 of their 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Quarterfinal match. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open until the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are resolved to Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate beliefs from many traders competing for profit. This market may show different implied probabilities than traditional sports betting sites, especially as new information emerges. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd on Kalshi sees value differently than oddsmakers, though both sources provide useful reference points for assessing the likely outcome.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective belief about the probability of that outcome occurring. As traders place orders, the price adjusts in real time based on supply and demand. You can enter limit or market orders to trade at your preferred price, and the market's price discovery process ensures that odds remain responsive to new information and shifting expectations about the set winner.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the second set of the Auger-Aliassime vs Djokovic match concludes. The outcome is determined by verifying the official result against credible public sources covering professional tennis. Your position will settle to either 1 or 0 depending on which player wins the set. Until that time, you can trade your shares freely to lock in gains, cut losses, or adjust your exposure based on live match developments and shifting market sentiment.
Several factors could shift odds before resolution. Early performance in the first set may signal momentum or fatigue, influencing expectations for the second set. Injury reports, weather conditions, or court surface characteristics can affect player performance. Live match action—such as breaks of serve, momentum swings, or tactical adjustments—will likely trigger sharp price moves as traders react in real time. Player form, recent head-to-head history, and any pre-match news about physical condition or mental state could also influence how traders price the outcome as the event unfolds.
