This market tracks the outcome of the first set in the Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Michael Zheng first-round match at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles tournament on July 3. Bettors predict which player will win the set.
The market resolves based on which player wins set 1 of the professional tennis match between Felix Auger-Aliassime and Michael Zheng in the 2026 Wimbledon Men Singles Round Of 32. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are settled at Fair Market Price as determined by the Exchange.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. For this market, comparing Kalshi odds to major sportsbooks can reveal whether professional bettors and casual traders are aligned on the set outcome. Prediction markets sometimes price outcomes differently when traders have unique information or when sportsbook lines lag behind breaking news.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective probability traders assign to Auger-Aliassime winning set one. As new information surfaces—such as player form, court conditions, or injury updates—traders adjust their positions, moving the price up or down. You can enter limit or market orders to trade at your preferred price or take the current market rate immediately.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the match concludes and the set winner is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which player wins the first set according to official tennis scoring rules. No partial credit is awarded; the market pays out only to holders of the winning outcome. Early resolution is possible if the match is abandoned or the set is voided under tournament rules, though standard completion is the expected path.
Several catalysts can shift odds before the match begins. Player injury announcements or withdrawal news would dramatically reprrice this market. Recent tournament results, head-to-head records, and surface-specific form all influence trader positioning. Court conditions, weather forecasts, and lineup confirmations closer to match time can trigger sharp moves. Media reports on player fitness or motivation may also sway sentiment. Traders monitor these signals continuously, so any credible update typically produces immediate price adjustment on Kalshi.
