This market tracks the outcome of the second set in the Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Dino Prizmic first-round match at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles tournament on July 1. The market resolves based on which player wins set 2 during their professional tennis match.
The market resolves to Yes if either Felix Auger-Aliassime or Dino Prizmic wins set 2 in their 2026 Wimbledon Men Singles Round Of 64 match. If the match does not occur before it begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are settled at Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders who have real money at stake on outcomes. This market aggregates trader conviction directly through price discovery, which can sometimes lead to sharper odds than traditional sportsbooks, especially for niche events. Comparing the two can reveal where public perception and informed trading sentiment differ most.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective probability estimate of all active traders. As new information emerges—such as player form, court conditions, or early set performance—traders adjust their positions, moving prices up or down. This dynamic pricing ensures the market stays responsive to real-time developments throughout the match.
This market resolves around Jul 1, 2026, once the second set of the Auger-Aliassime vs Prizmic match concludes. The outcome is determined by verifying the official set result against credible public sources, including the ATP or tournament's official records. Once the set winner is confirmed and reported, the market settles automatically, paying out traders who backed the correct outcome. Early resolution may occur if circumstances prevent the set from being completed.
Several factors could shift odds significantly before this market resolves. Player injuries or unexpected withdrawals would immediately reprrice the outcome. Performance in the first set often influences trader expectations for the second, so a dominant or tight opening set could trigger substantial movement. Court conditions, weather delays, and momentum swings during live play all create opportunities for price shifts. News about player form, recent match results, or head-to-head history may also prompt traders to adjust positions as new information becomes available.
