This market tracks the outcome of the first set in the Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Dino Prizmic first-round match at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles tournament on July 1. The market resolves based on which player wins set 1 during their professional tennis match.
The market resolves to Yes if either Felix Auger-Aliassime or Dino Prizmic wins set 1 in their 2026 Wimbledon Men Singles Round Of 64 match. If the match does not occur before it begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If the match is postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are settled at Fair Market Price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders who profit from accuracy. This market aggregates the beliefs of many participants trading in real time, which can sometimes offer a more efficient price than traditional sportsbooks, particularly for niche matchups or specific outcomes like set winners.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each contract reflects the probability traders assign to that player winning Set 1, with prices ranging from near zero to near 100 cents. As new information emerges or trading interest shifts, prices adjust in real time, allowing you to enter or exit positions at market rates.
This market resolves around Jul 1, 2026, once the tennis match is completed and the Set 1 result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which player wins the first set according to official match records. Once the set concludes and the result is confirmed, the market will settle automatically, paying out holders of the winning outcome contract.
Several factors can shift odds in this market before resolution. Recent form and head-to-head records between Auger-Aliassime and Prizmic may influence trader positioning. Court surface, weather conditions, and player fitness updates closer to match day can trigger repricing. Breaking news about injuries, withdrawals, or lineup changes would cause sharp moves. Additionally, early-match momentum—if one player breaks serve or dominates the opening games—could shift sentiment among traders watching live action.
