This market tracks the outcome of the third set in the professional tennis match between Felix Auger-Aliassime and Alexander Shevchenko at the 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Round of 128 on June 29. The winner of set 3 will determine the market resolution.
The market resolves based on which player wins set 3 in the Auger-Aliassime vs Shevchenko match at 2026 Wimbledon Men's Singles Round of 128. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to fair price. If postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are settled at fair market price at the Exchange's discretion.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract a margin, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show different implied probabilities than traditional sports betting sites, particularly as new information emerges or if one venue attracts more informed traders. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value opportunities for sharp bettors monitoring both venues.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective belief about the likelihood of that outcome, with shares trading between $0 and $1. As traders place bids and asks, the market price adjusts in real time. Higher prices indicate stronger conviction that an outcome will occur, while lower prices suggest skepticism. This continuous auction process ensures prices remain responsive to new information and trader sentiment throughout the event window.
This market resolves around Jun 29, 2026, once the third set of the Auger-Aliassime vs Shevchenko match concludes and the winner is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which player wins the majority of games in the third set according to official tournament records. Resolution occurs automatically once the result is confirmed and recorded by the relevant tennis authority. Traders should monitor the match schedule and any potential delays or postponements that might affect the resolution timeline.
Several factors could shift odds before this market closes. Player fitness and injury updates announced before or during the match will influence trader positioning. Court conditions, weather, and surface type may favor one competitor over the other. Momentum from earlier sets plays a psychological role; a player winning Set 1 or 2 decisively often sees improved odds for Set 3. Real-time match developments—such as service breaks, momentum swings, or tactical adjustments—drive continuous repricing. News about recent form, head-to-head records, or player statements can also trigger significant volume and price movement.
