Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds often reflect a different kind of wisdom than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market represents the aggregate belief of informed traders. It's common to see discrepancies, especially when a significant amount of information isn't yet widely available or when there's strong sentiment driving trading activity. If sportsbook odds suggest a clear favorite, but this market shows a more even split, it could indicate that prediction market participants believe the sportsbook is mispricing the probability of an upset. Examining these differences can offer valuable insights.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each outcome. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to reflect the collective sentiment. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a 'yes' share (for example, Parnu JK Vaprus to win the second half) indicates the market's estimated probability of that outcome occurring. Higher demand for 'yes' shares will drive up the price, while increased selling pressure will lower it. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date information and predictions.

This market resolves around Sep 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result of the second half of the FCI Levadia Tallinn vs. Parnu JK Vaprus match will determine the winning outcome. Specifically, the market will resolve based on which team wins the second half, or if the second half ends in a draw. The official match result, as reported by a recognized sporting authority, will serve as the basis for settlement. It's important to note that the resolution will be based on the official result, regardless of any pre-match predictions.

Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, suspensions, or changes in team tactics could significantly shift the odds. Unexpected weather conditions on match day could also play a role, potentially favoring one team over the other. Furthermore, in-match events, such as early goals or red cards, could trigger substantial price movements. Public sentiment and analysis from sports commentators could also impact trading volume and price, as traders react to new information and adjust their predictions. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding how this market evolves.
