Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and profit margin, while prediction markets aggregate beliefs from traders risking real capital. For over/under goal totals, prediction markets may price in subtler tactical or injury information faster than sportsbooks adjust their lines. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbook lines on the same matchup can reveal whether traders are pricing in information the books have not yet fully reflected, though both should converge closer to kickoff.

On Limitless, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing "yes" (3+ goals) and "no" (fewer than 3 goals) outcomes. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective probability assigned by active traders; as new information arrives or trading volume shifts, prices adjust in real time. You can place limit or market orders to enter or exit your position, and the spread between buy and sell prices narrows or widens based on liquidity and conviction among participants.

This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, once the FC Thun versus Dinamo Zagreb match concludes and the final goal tally is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the total number of goals scored by both teams combined during regular play. If the combined total reaches 3 or more, the "yes" outcome wins; if it remains below 3, the "no" outcome wins. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final whistle, after official match records are confirmed.

Several catalysts can shift odds on this market before kickoff and during the match. Team news—injuries to key forwards or defensive players, lineup changes, or tactical adjustments—often triggers repricing. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions can also influence expected goal output. Once the match begins, early goals or defensive performances will prompt sharp moves as traders update their probability estimates. Betting syndicates and sharp money flowing into one side can accelerate price movement, while late-breaking team news or venue updates may create sudden volatility in the final hours before the match starts.
