Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets are driven by trader consensus and real-time supply and demand. For this exact score prediction, sportsbook odds may emphasize margin and liability management, whereas this market aggregates the collective judgment of participants trading directly. Comparing the two can reveal where public perception and professional oddsmaking diverge most sharply.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on the volume and direction of trades. Each possible exact score outcome has its own contract, and the price of each reflects the probability traders assign to it. As more capital flows into a particular scoreline, its price rises and the implied probability increases. The system ensures continuous liquidity and transparent pricing throughout the trading window.
This market resolves around Jul 23, 2026, once the match concludes and the final score is confirmed. The outcome is determined by the actual scoreline recorded at the end of regulation time, verified against credible public sources covering the fixture. Traders holding contracts matching the verified exact score will receive their payout, while all other positions expire worthless. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the match ending.
Team news—injuries, suspensions, or lineup changes—can significantly shift odds for different scorelines. Pre-match analysis, recent form, head-to-head records, and expert commentary often trigger repricing as traders update their expectations. Weather conditions, venue factors, and betting patterns in the hours before kickoff also influence the market. As the match approaches, any official announcements or late-breaking developments will likely prompt sharp moves in the odds for specific outcomes.
