This prediction market asks users to forecast which team, FC Penafiel or RC Deportivo De La Coruna, will score the first goal in their upcoming soccer match. A 'Neither' option is available if no goal is scored by either team. The markets are identical across both platforms.
In the upcoming match between FC Penafiel and RC Deportivo De La Coruna, scheduled for September 25, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET: This market will resolve to "FC Penafiel" if FC Penafiel are the first to score in the match (regardless of format). This market will resolve to "RC Deportivo De La Coruna" if RC Deportivo De La Coruna are the first to score in the match (regardless of format). If neither team scores in the match (regardless of format), this market will resolve "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market considers goals scored at any point in the match, regardless of format (e.g. two halves totaling 90 minutes plus stoppage time, or four periods totaling 120 minutes). The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often reflect a different kind of information than traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on statistical models and aim to balance action on both sides, incorporating a profit margin. This market, however, is driven by the collective intelligence of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. As a result, prediction market prices can sometimes be more accurate, especially when there's a significant amount of volume. They can also reveal insights into public sentiment and potentially identify mispriced opportunities compared to traditional betting venues.
