Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 19, 2026, with identical treatment of postponements and cancellations across all three possible outcomes (Mito win, Kashiwa win, draw).
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from the Japan Professional Football League (J-League) and the governing body, with fallback to consensus credible reporting if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the final score after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only, excluding extra time and penalties.
Exactly one of the three mutually exclusive outcomes will resolve YES: Mito Holly Hock win, Kashiwa Reysol win, or draw.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game, Mito win and Kashiwa win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed. Resolution occurs based on the final outcome of the completed match.
Match Cancellation Without Makeup: If the match is canceled entirely with no makeup game scheduled, the Mito win and Kashiwa win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES.
Resolution Source Timing: Primary resolution uses official J-League statistics. If official statistics are not published within 2 hours after match conclusion, credible reporting consensus may be used as fallback.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official publication of the final match result by the J-League or governing body, or within 2 hours after match conclusion via consensus credible reporting if official statistics are delayed.
