Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and incorporate a margin for profit, while this market allows anyone to trade and express their beliefs about the outcome. If polls or analysts overwhelmingly favor a particular exact score, we might see the prediction market odds align with that sentiment. However, discrepancies can arise due to differing information or risk assessments among market participants. It’s common to see this market adjust rapidly to new information.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. As more shares are bought for a specific outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share essentially represents the implied probability of that outcome occurring. The market's overall volume and the concentration of shares held for each outcome influence price movements. This dynamic pricing allows the market to quickly incorporate new information and adjust expectations.
This market resolves around Sep 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final result of the FC Lokomotiv 1929 Sofia versus PFC CSKA Sofia match is verifiable from credible public reporting.
