Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)
Both Polymarket and Kalshi resolve based on the official match outcome after 90 minutes plus stoppage time on April 17, 2026, with identical treatment of postponements and cancellations across all three possible outcomes (Inter win, draw, Cagliari win).
Primary resolution logic:
Official statistics from Lega Serie A (Italian Serie A governing body) or credible reporting consensus if official statistics are not published within 2 hours of match conclusion.
Core resolution logic:
Market resolves based on the match result after 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time only, excluding extra time and penalties.
Three mutually exclusive outcomes are possible: Inter win, draw, or Cagliari win. Exactly one will resolve YES across the three Polymarket markets.
If the match is postponed, all markets remain open until the match is completed.
If the match is canceled with no make-up game, Inter win and Cagliari win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES.
Resolution source is official Lega Serie A statistics; if unavailable within 2 hours post-match, credible reporting consensus is used.
Edge cases & Clarifications:
Match Postponement: If the match is postponed, all markets remain open and unresolved until the rescheduled match is completed.
Match Cancellation: If the match is canceled entirely with no make-up game scheduled, the Inter win and Cagliari win markets resolve NO, while the draw market resolves YES.
Delayed Official Statistics: If Lega Serie A does not publish official match statistics within 2 hours of match conclusion, resolution uses consensus from credible reporting sources.
Timing:
Resolution occurs upon official Lega Serie A publication of final match statistics, or within 2 hours post-match conclusion via credible reporting consensus if official statistics are delayed.
