On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each possible exact score outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the cumulative positions of all participants; as more traders back a particular scoreline, its price rises, and alternatives fall. Each outcome's price represents the market's collective estimate of its probability. Traders can enter or exit positions at any time before Jul 28, 2026, and the spread between buy and sell prices narrows as volume increases and consensus solidifies around likely results.
This market resolves around Jul 28, 2026, once the match concludes and the final scoreline is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the exact number of goals scored by each team at the end of regular time. No adjustments are made for extra time or penalty shootouts unless the competition format specifies otherwise. Resolution is automatic once the result is confirmed, and all positions are settled according to whether traders correctly predicted the final score.
Key catalysts that could shift odds include team news such as injuries to star players, lineup announcements, or managerial changes that alter competitive balance. Recent form, head-to-head history, and weather conditions on match day all influence scoring expectations. Betting market movements at major sportsbooks can also signal sharp money entering the prediction market, prompting repricing. As the match approaches, late-breaking developments—such as unexpected absences or tactical adjustments—may trigger rapid position adjustments. Traders monitor these signals continuously to identify mispricings before the event unfolds.
