This group centers on which team will score the first goal in a soccer match between FC Dallas and Portland Timbers. The markets determine whether FC Dallas, Portland Timbers, or neither team will score first within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time.
In the upcoming match between FC Dallas and Portland Timbers, scheduled for September 12, 2026 at 8:30 PM ET: This market will resolve to "FC Dallas" if FC Dallas are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. This market will resolve to "Portland Timbers" if Portland Timbers are the first to score within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. If neither team scores within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time, this market will resolve "Neither". If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve to "Neither". This market refers only to the outcome within the first 90 minutes of regular play plus stoppage time. Extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
The markets resolve based on whether both Dallas and New York G score at least the specified number of points (14, 21, 28, or 35) in their Pro Football game originally scheduled for September 13, 2026. Points scored in overtime count toward the total. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of the original start time, the markets remain open and resolve according to the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours of its scheduled time, the markets will resolve to a fair price. All markets operate independently, each corresponding to a different scoring threshold that both teams must reach for the market to resolve to 'Yes.' Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Kalshi, often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the underlying mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and profit margins, while prediction markets are driven by the collective intelligence of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. This market reflects real-time sentiment and can incorporate information more quickly than traditional bookmakers. While sportsbooks may initially offer similar odds, prediction markets can diverge as new information emerges and traders adjust their positions, potentially offering a more accurate assessment of the event’s probability.
