Frequently asked questions

The dashboard for the first goal scorer market aggregates predictions across platforms, showing how traders price the likelihood of each team scoring first. It tracks consensus views and volume trends, letting users see where the market stands on who will net the opening goal. This unified view helps participants spot shifts in sentiment as the match approaches.

Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to real-time trader sentiment and lower overheads. While sportsbooks may set broader lines to manage risk, prediction markets can price sharper probabilities based on recent data flows. Traders watch both, but the market’s agility can reveal early shifts before sportsbooks adjust.

On Polymarket and Limitless, prices can vary because each platform attracts different user bases and liquidity patterns. Polymarket and Limitless can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. For instance, one venue might see heavier betting from regions closer to the match, skewing its implied chances. Differences in available markets and recent trading volume also help explain the spread.
