Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they serve different purposes and audiences. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may show different implied probabilities than traditional sportsbooks, reflecting the collective judgment of traders rather than a bookmaker's margin-adjusted line. Comparing the two can reveal where market participants see value relative to conventional betting venues.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell shares corresponding to each outcome, and the price of each share reflects the collective assessment of that outcome's likelihood. As traders adjust their positions, the market price moves, creating a continuous signal of expected probability. The current pricing reflects all available information and recent trading activity on the platform.
This market resolves around Jul 24, 2026, once the second half of the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be determined by the actual second-half result recorded in official match records. Traders should monitor the event as it unfolds to assess whether their positions align with the developing match situation. Resolution timing depends on the completion of the fixture and confirmation of the final score.
Several factors could shift this market before resolution. Team news—injuries, lineup changes, or tactical announcements—often triggers repricing as traders adjust their outlook. Early first-half performance and momentum can signal which team is likely to dominate the second half, prompting traders to adjust positions. Weather conditions, referee assignments, or other contextual details may also influence expectations. As the match progresses and real-time data emerges, traders will continuously update their probability assessments, driving price movement.
