In the upcoming Switzerland Super League game between FC Basel 1893 and FC St. Gallen 1879, scheduled for September 20, 2026 at 10:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the FC Basel 1893 vs. FC St. Gallen 1879 match originally scheduled for September 20, 2026 at 10:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the probability of an exact score. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the dynamics of supply and demand within each venue. It’s valuable to compare the two to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the potential outcome.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of different exact scores. The price of each share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the evolving consensus. The market's depth and volume indicate the level of confidence traders have in each potential result, offering a dynamic assessment of the match's likely outcome.
This market resolves around Sep 20, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official result of the FC Basel vs. St. Gallen match – the exact score – will be used to determine which shares pay out. The resolution will be based on the official match data, ensuring a transparent and verifiable outcome for all participants. Traders should monitor official sources for the final score to understand when the market is settled.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or even weather conditions could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected announcements about team strategy or coaching decisions could also play a role. Furthermore, significant betting activity – a large influx of volume on a particular exact score – could also cause the odds to move. Monitoring these signals will be key to understanding how the market evolves leading up to Sep 20, 2026.
