This prediction market asks for the exact final score of a Bundesliga soccer match between FC Augsburg and Bayer 04 Leverkusen, played to the end of regulation time plus stoppage time. Any outcome not explicitly listed resolves to 'Any Other Score'.
In the upcoming Bundesliga game between FC Augsburg and Bayer 04 Leverkusen, scheduled for September 12, 2026 at 9:30 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the FC Augsburg vs. Bayer 04 Leverkusen match originally scheduled for September 12, 2026 at 9:30 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
The markets collectively assess whether the total goals scored in the Augsburg vs Leverkusen Bundesliga match scheduled for September 12, 2026, exceed specified thresholds ranging from 0.5 to 5.5 goals. All markets resolve based on the official result after 90 minutes of play plus any stoppage time, with extra time and penalty shootout goals excluded from consideration. Each threshold represents a distinct outcome—'Yes' if the total goals surpass the threshold, 'No' otherwise. These markets operate independently, meaning each threshold is evaluated separately, and the resolution for one does not affect the others. Kalshi explicitly states it holds no official affiliation with the governing league, and all associated trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Prediction market odds, like those found on Polymarket and Predict, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on models and internal analysis, while this market relies on individuals wagering their own capital. This can lead to discrepancies, especially when public sentiment diverges from expert opinion. Generally, prediction markets tend to be more accurate than sportsbook odds, particularly for events with a large amount of trading volume, which currently stands at $231,746 for this market. However, sportsbooks may offer more competitive pricing on certain outcomes.
Several factors could significantly shift the probabilities in this market. Late-breaking news regarding player injuries or suspensions for either FC Augsburg or Bayer 04 Leverkusen would likely cause movement. Changes in team form, such as a surprising win or loss in a recent match, could also influence trader sentiment. Even weather conditions on match day could play a role, especially if they are expected to significantly impact the style of play. Any major news related to team tactics or managerial decisions could also contribute to shifts in the market’s predictions.
