Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and need to account for profit margins, while this market allows bettors to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each exact score. If a significant number of traders believe a particular outcome is more likely than implied by sportsbook odds, the price will adjust accordingly. This can create opportunities for arbitrage, where discrepancies between the two types of markets allow for risk-free profit. However, it's important to remember that both types of odds are simply predictions of the future.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing different exact scores in the FC Anyang vs. Ulsan HD FC match, and the price of each share reflects the market's collective belief about its probability. As more shares are traded, the price fluctuates, providing a dynamic assessment of the likely outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price movement is driven by supply and demand; if more people buy shares of a particular score, its price increases, indicating greater confidence in that result. This creates a constantly updating probability distribution for the match.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the final, official result of the FC Anyang vs. Ulsan HD FC match is verifiable from credible public reporting. The exact score determined by official sources will be used to determine which shares pay out. The platform will verify the result against established sports data providers to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final score and their holdings in the market. The resolution process is designed to be objective and based on publicly available information.
