The price of each share reflects the market’s assessment of the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and the implied probability rises. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market dynamically adjusts based on supply and demand, meaning the odds can shift rapidly in response to new information or changing sentiment. This creates a real-time forecast of the match’s likely result, driven by the collective predictions of traders.
