It's common to see differences between prediction market odds and those offered by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often set their lines to attract balanced action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information sources, risk assessments, or simply variations in public perception. If significant differences exist, it may suggest that prediction market participants believe the sportsbook odds are mispriced, creating an arbitrage opportunity.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous trading mechanism where participants buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of a particular outcome. The price of these shares directly reflects the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate and new information becomes available, the price adjusts to reflect the evolving consensus. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market remains responsive to changes in perceived likelihood, offering a real-time assessment of the event's potential results.
This market resolves around Sep 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Fashchevskyi vs. Storozhenko match as reported by recognized sports authorities. Once the official result is available, Polymarket will finalize the market and distribute payouts to traders who correctly predicted the outcome. The process ensures a transparent and verifiable determination of the market's result.

Any news regarding the players’ form, potential injuries, or changes in coaching strategies could significantly impact predictions.
