Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on their own analysis, while this market aggregates the views of many individual traders. This can lead to discrepancies, especially as new information emerges or public opinion shifts. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster than sportsbooks to incorporate new data, though the final outcomes are often correlated. Comparing the two can provide a more comprehensive understanding of the likely result.
