This prediction market asks forecasters to predict which tight end will score the most fantasy points in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL season using standard PPR scoring. The markets cover a wide range of potential players, including established stars and emerging rookies.
This market will resolve to the tight end that finishes Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season as the highest-scoring TE under standard PPR (points-per-reception) scoring per the default scoring of ESPN Fantasy Sports. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 1 of the 2026-27 regular season count. If two or more players are tied for the most fantasy points in Week 1, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player whose last name comes first alphabetically. If the highest-scoring TE in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is not a listed player, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or a leader cannot be determined within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official Week 1 statistics as reported by ESPN Fantasy Sports (https://www.espn.com/fantasy/).
Each market resolves to Yes only if the named player finishes within the top five in total full-PPR fantasy points among all eligible tight ends in Week 1 of the 2026 NFL regular season. Scoring follows Sleeper’s default full-PPR system, which awards points for receptions, receiving yards, touchdowns, and additional categories including kicking and defensive contributions. Players who do not participate that week are treated as scoring zero points. If multiple players tie for the fifth position, contracts settle proportionally based on the fraction of qualifying positions each tied player occupies (e.g., $0.50 per contract if two players share the fifth spot). All rankings include players without listed markets, with eligibility determined by Sleeper at the time of settlement.
Several signals and events could significantly impact this market. Preseason performance, including training camp reports and exhibition games, will provide early indications of player form and potential. Injuries to key tight ends are a major catalyst, as they can dramatically alter the competitive landscape. Coaching decisions regarding player usage and offensive schemes will also be closely watched. Late-breaking news regarding player trades or changes in team dynamics could also cause substantial shifts in probabilities. Any significant news related to player health or team strategy will likely influence trading activity and move the odds in this market.
