FALKE Esports and UB Alma Mater compete in the first map of their League of Legends match scheduled for July 22, 2026. The winner of this individual map will be determined by competitive play according to official tournament standards.
Resolution depends on the outcome of map 1 in the specified LES 2026 match. If the map is completed, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer. If the match or map is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time, or if either the match or map is cancelled before play begins, the market resolves to fair market price. If a match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map is forfeited before any play occurs in that map, the market resolves to fair market price. However, if a map begins and is subsequently forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders seeking to profit from accurate forecasts. Prediction markets frequently incorporate real-time information and can shift more dynamically as new data emerges. Comparing the two can reveal whether mainstream betting consensus aligns with the broader trader sentiment on this market, offering perspective on where smart money may be positioned.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The bid-ask spread reflects the current supply and demand for each side, and prices update in real time as new trades execute. Shares typically range from $0 to $1, with the price representing the implied probability of that outcome occurring. Tighter spreads indicate higher liquidity and confidence in the market, while wider spreads suggest less certainty or trading activity.
This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, once the esports match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on which team wins Map 1 of the contest. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information and match developments emerge. Resolution typically occurs shortly after the map concludes, allowing the platform to settle all positions and distribute winnings to holders of the correct outcome.
Several factors can shift trader positioning before resolution. Team roster changes, recent performance trends, and head-to-head map statistics may influence confidence in either side. In-game events such as early round wins, player eliminations, or economic advantages can trigger sharp price swings as new information reaches traders. Pre-match analysis from esports commentators and betting syndicates often catalyzes volume spikes. Additionally, betting patterns from professional teams or known sharp traders can signal conviction, prompting retail traders to adjust their positions accordingly.
