This market will resolve to "YES" if Faker plays at least one champion in any game of the MSI 2026 Play-In Stage that he did not play in the LCK 2026 Road to MSI, as shown on RFT.GG. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." The champions Faker played in the LCK 2026 Road to MSI were Akali, Anivia, Azir, Cassiopeia, Galio, Lissandra, Ryze, and Sion. Any other champion will satisfy the market condition. Only completed games in which a champion is shown for Faker in the Game tab will count. Champions played by any other T1 player do not count. Primary resolution source: RFT.GG MSI 2026 event page: https://rft.gg/event/msi-2026 If the MSI 2026 Play-In Stage is canceled before it starts, this market will resolve to "NO." If the MSI 2026 Play-In Stage is canceled after it starts or postponed/rescheduled beyond July 31, 2026, 23:59 UTC, this market will resolve based on RFT.GG information available at the time of cancellation, postponement, or rescheduling. If RFT.GG is unavailable at the time of resolution and remains unavailable for 72 hours, a consensus of credible reporting will be used.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price uncertainty differently. Sportsbooks set fixed odds with built-in margins and rely on oddsmakers' expertise; prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs in real time, allowing prices to shift continuously as new information emerges. For esports events like this one, sportsbooks may offer limited or no coverage, whereas prediction markets provide a transparent, liquid venue where participants directly stake capital on outcomes. This market's odds reflect decentralized consensus rather than a bookmaker's fixed line, often capturing nuanced event details that mainstream books overlook.
On Limitless, this market is priced through an automated market maker or order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to yes or no outcomes. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome fluctuates based on supply and demand; as more traders bet on Faker expanding his pool, the yes-outcome price rises, and vice versa. Limitless displays the current implied probability, allowing participants to enter or exit positions at transparent, real-time rates. Settlement occurs after the MSI 2026 Play-In concludes and the outcome is verified.
This market resolves around Jul 1, 2026, once the MSI 2026 Play-In stage concludes and the outcome is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on whether Faker demonstrably expands his champion pool—meaning he plays champions in the Play-In that fall outside his established comfort picks during the tournament. Verification will draw from official match records, broadcast commentary, and esports news sources covering T1's participation. Traders should monitor tournament schedules and team announcements as the event approaches.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly. T1 roster announcements, pre-tournament scrims, or coach interviews discussing draft strategy may signal intent to expand Faker's champion pool. Patch changes to League of Legends before MSI could buff or nerf specific champions, influencing team preparation. Faker's recent solo queue activity and champion selection in regional qualifiers offer clues about his current comfort zone. Injury or roster changes, rival team compositions, and meta shifts closer to the tournament will all influence trader expectations. Early Play-In matches themselves will provide definitive evidence, sharpening the market as resolution approaches.
