PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

Both platforms define resolution based on the outcome of the match after regulation time (90 minutes + stoppage time), and both address postponements and abandoned/canceled matches consistently.Primary resolution logic: Official match result as declared by the EFL

Core resolution logic:

  • The market resolves to YES for the team that wins after 90 minutes plus stoppage time.
  • A draw after 90 minutes plus stoppage time resolves the Draw market to YES.
  • Extra time and penalty shootouts are explicitly excluded from resolution.
  • If the match is postponed, the market remains open until completion.
  • If the match is abandoned or canceled, resolution will be based on any official result; otherwise, the Draw market resolves to YES.

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Postponement: If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until the rescheduled match is completed and an official result is available.
  • Abandonment/Cancellation: If the match is abandoned or canceled without an official result, the Draw market will resolve to YES.
  • Official Result Revision: Revisions to officially declared final scores made *after* market resolution will not be accounted for.
Timing: Resolution will occur as soon as an official result is declared by the EFL following the completion of 90 minutes plus stoppage time, or following an official decision regarding an abandoned/canceled match. Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Kalshi

The markets collectively determine the winner of the Everton vs Wolverhampton EFL Cup soccer match scheduled for September 16, 2026, based exclusively on the result after 90 minutes of regulation time plus any stoppage time, with no consideration for extra time or penalty shootouts. If Everton wins within this timeframe, the 'Everton' market resolves to Yes. If Wolverhampton achieves the victory under the same conditions, the 'Wolverhampton' market resolves to Yes. Should the game conclude in a tie after regulation and stoppage time, the 'Tie' market resolves to Yes. In the event the match is cancelled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, all markets will resolve to a fair price as determined by the platform’s rules. The markets explicitly disclaim any official affiliation with the governing league, and all associated trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Limitless

This market resolves to "YES" if the listed club wins after 90 minutes plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and penalty shootouts, in the match scheduled for September 16, 2026, 18:45 UTC. Otherwise, it will resolve to "NO." If the match is postponed, this market will remain open until the match has been completed. If the match is not completed as scheduled for any reason (for example, if it is abandoned, canceled, or awarded), and an official final result is recognized by the governing body or event organizers, this market will resolve based on that result. If no official final result is recognized and no make-up match is scheduled, this market will resolve "NO." Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
