Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd effect, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market is driven by the collective predictions of traders. If there’s a significant discrepancy between the implied probabilities on Polymarket and those offered by sportsbooks, it could indicate that the market believes there’s value in a particular outcome that sportsbooks haven’t fully priced in. It's worth comparing to see if you identify any such opportunities.
