The Eurovision Song Contest Asia is a musical competition where participating countries submit performances. The event aims to determine the most popular entry through audience voting and jury scores. Each market tracks whether a specific country is officially declared the contest's winner.
All markets resolve based on the official declaration of the winner from Voxovation and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) for the Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026. Each market corresponds to a specific country's entry; if that country is declared the winner, the respective market resolves to Yes, otherwise to No. The identity of a participant remains unchanged even if the artist or song is altered before the event. Only official results from Voxovation and the EBU are valid—unofficial reports, leaks, predictions, or rumors do not affect resolution. If corrections occur before the market expiration, they govern the outcome; changes after expiration are disregarded. In cases of contest postponement or rescheduling, trading remains open until the earlier of the official result announcement or one year after the originally scheduled Grand Final date. Should the contest be interrupted or canceled without a postponement, and no winner is declared, all markets resolve to the last fair price determined by the Exchange. Any entry that fails to qualify, is not selected for the Grand Final, or becomes officially ineligible may resolve to No early. Kalshi clarifies it holds no affiliation with the EBU, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Currently, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than many analyst forecasts for the Eurovision Asia winner. While analysts often rely on subjective factors like song quality and artist popularity, this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are putting real money behind their predictions. Discrepancies between the two can highlight potential biases in analyst opinions or suggest that the market is anticipating factors not fully captured by traditional analysis. It’s important to consider both sources of information when forming your own view.
This market resolves around Nov 15, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official results announced by the Eurovision Song Contest Asia organizers, determining which artist and song are declared the winners. The market will settle to 100 for the winning outcome and 0 for all others. Traders should monitor official announcements to understand the resolution process and ensure a smooth settlement of their contracts.
Several signals could significantly move this market before resolution. Major news events related to participating artists, such as changes in performance schedules or unexpected announcements, could influence trader sentiment. Public opinion shifts, as measured by social media trends or fan polls, might also impact the odds. Furthermore, any changes in the perceived competitiveness of songs or artists, perhaps due to live performance reviews or promotional activities, could lead to price adjustments in this market. Unexpected events impacting travel or the contest itself could also be catalysts.
