This market refers to the cricket match between Dublin Guardians and Belfast Wolves scheduled for September 9 2026 in European T20 Premier League. DLS/DRS, over-rate penalties, forfeit/walkover, or any other on-field ruling that leads the competition to declare a winner are treated as ordinary wins. If the match ends tied and no on-field tiebreak is used or available under the playing conditions (e.g., group-stage ODI with no Super Over), the market will resolve 50-50. If the match is postponed/rescheduled, the market remains open until the listed fixture is completed. If the match is permanently canceled or abandoned or otherwise is completed without a winner, the market resolves 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.

If such an event occurs after the match starts and the governing body declares an official winner, the relevant market resolves based on that result.
Prediction market odds, such as those found on Polymarket and Kalshi, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines based on models and proprietary information, while this market is driven by individuals betting with their own capital. This can lead to discrepancies, particularly when public sentiment diverges from expert opinion. However, both sources aim to accurately predict the probability of an event, and arbitrage opportunities may arise when significant differences in odds exist between this market and sportsbooks.
Prices on Polymarket and Kalshi for this market can diverge due to several factors. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform has a different user base, trading volume, and fee structure, all of which can influence price discovery. Additionally, information flow and interpretation can vary between the two venues, leading to differing opinions on the likelihood of a completed match. Currently, Polymarket currently favors a completed match at 99, while Kalshi has a different leading outcome. These differences create opportunities for traders to exploit arbitrage and contribute to price convergence.
