Opinion
In the upcoming VCT best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-07-25 17:00 UTC: if GIANTX wins the series, the market will resolve to "GIANTX"; if Eternal Fire wins the series, the market will resolve to "Eternal Fire". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: official VCT broadcast and https://valorantesports.com/; community coverage on vlr.gg may be used as a supplementary source. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect a broader crowd of traders rather than professional oddsmakers. While sportsbooks adjust prices to balance liability, prediction markets aggregate decentralized opinion in real time. This market may price the outcome differently than conventional betting sites, offering an alternative gauge of where informed traders believe the probability lies.
On Opinion, this market is priced through continuous trading, where buyers and sellers set the odds by exchanging contracts. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the last executed trade; as new information emerges or trader conviction shifts, the odds update dynamically. Deeper order books typically mean tighter spreads and more reliable pricing.
This market resolves around Jul 25, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the esports match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The winning side will be determined by the official match result reported by the event organizer or recognized esports authority. Until that point, traders can buy or sell positions as new information and analysis emerge.
Team roster changes, player injuries, recent tournament performance, and pre-match analysis from esports commentators can all shift trader conviction before the match begins. Betting syndicates or professional teams may also move the market if they position large trades based on insider knowledge or strategic insight. Public statements from players, coaching staff updates, or unexpected format changes could trigger sharp repricing as the event date approaches.
