The event resolves based on the official result of the Essex vs Yorkshire men's professional One-Day Cup cricket match scheduled for August 11, 2026, at 6:00 AM EDT. If either Essex or Yorkshire is declared the official winner by the governing body, the corresponding market will resolve to Yes. If the match ends in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, or cancellation—resulting in no official winner—all markets resolve to $0.50. In cases of forfeit, disqualification, or concession, if the event occurs before the match begins, all markets also resolve to $0.50. However, if such an event occurs after the match has started and the governing body declares an official winner, the market will resolve based on that outcome. Additionally, if play begins but there is insufficient play to determine an official result, all markets will resolve to $0.50. The rules emphasize that Kalshi is not affiliated with the governing league, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
