The event determines the winner of the Essex vs Derbyshire men's professional One-Day Cup cricket match scheduled for July 26, 2026. If Essex wins, the Essex market resolves to Yes, and the Derbyshire market resolves to No. Conversely, if Derbyshire wins, the Derbyshire market resolves to Yes, and the Essex market resolves to No. Should the match end in a tie, draw, no result, abandonment, cancellation, or insufficient play to determine a winner, both markets resolve to $0.50. In cases of forfeit, disqualification, or concession, if the governing body declares an official winner after play has begun, the market corresponding to the declared winner resolves to Yes, and the other to No. If the forfeit occurs before the match begins, both markets resolve to $0.50.
