Resolves May 30, 2027
$
This market will resolve according to which English Premier League manager is fired first during the 2026-27 season. If the listed manager is the first manager to be officially fired, dismissed, or sacked by their respective Premier League club during the 2026-27 season, this market will resolve to "Yes". Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If multiple managers are fired on the same calendar day, resolution will be based on the earliest official announcement time. If a manager resigns, mutually agrees to part ways, or departs for another job, this will not count as being fired, and that will not qualify as "Yes" for this market. If no Premier League managers are fired by May 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other". The primary resolution source will be official club announcements or official Premier League communications. A consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

On Polymarket, this market is priced using a continuous double auction. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each manager being the first sacked. As more people buy shares in a particular manager, the price of those shares increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. Conversely, selling pressure drives prices down. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date collective intelligence of all participants.
This market resolves around May 31, 2027, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will settle based on which Premier League manager is officially announced as having been sacked first during the 2026-27 season. Interim or caretaker appointments do not count towards resolution; it must be a permanent managerial change. Any disputes regarding the outcome will be assessed based on widely accepted news sources covering the English Premier League.
Several factors could significantly shift the odds in this market. Poor team performance, particularly a prolonged losing streak, is a major catalyst. Unexpected injuries to key players could also increase the pressure on a manager. Public criticism from club owners or board members, or reports of dressing room unrest, are other potential drivers. Additionally, managerial signings by rival clubs could raise speculation about potential replacements, influencing trading activity. Any news related to a manager's job security will likely be reflected in the prices on Polymarket.
