Description

In the upcoming CCT Europe best-of-series match scheduled for 2026-09-24 08:30 UTC: if eternal premium wins the series, the market will resolve to "eternal premium"; if Entropy wins the series, the market will resolve to "Entropy". The series winner is the first team to win a majority of games. Individual games remade due to technical issues do not count as wins toward the series. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. In cases where a team's listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50. Resolution Source: HLTV (https://hltv.org); if HLTV has not published the result within 2 hours after the series' conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. Note: Opinion will resolve strictly based on the first officially published result from the designated source. Any subsequent revisions will not affect this resolution.

Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and incorporate a profit margin, while this market reflects the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to be accurate. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply the nature of how each venue operates. It's common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information than traditional sportsbooks, especially in situations where public sentiment is strong. However, it's not always the case that prediction markets are more accurate; they simply represent a different form of forecasting.

On Opinion, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders can buy and sell contracts representing their belief about the outcome. The price of each contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, as determined by supply and demand. On Opinion, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy contracts predicting a specific outcome, the price increases, indicating a higher perceived probability. Conversely, increased selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic pricing mechanism allows the market to quickly adapt to new information and changing opinions, offering a real-time assessment of potential outcomes.

This market resolves around Sep 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the final results of the competition between Entropy and Eternal Premium, as officially announced. The exact details of the competition and the criteria for determining the winner will be used to verify the outcome. Traders will then be paid out based on their holdings in the market, reflecting the accuracy of their predictions. This ensures a transparent and objective resolution process.

Several signals or events could significantly impact this market. Any news regarding team performance, player injuries, or strategic changes within either Entropy or Eternal Premium could shift trader sentiment. Major announcements about the competition format, scheduling changes, or rule modifications would also be influential. Unexpected upsets in preliminary matches or the emergence of a clear favorite could also drive price movements. Ultimately, any information that alters the perceived probability of either team winning will likely cause fluctuations in the market until resolution.
