In the upcoming FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup game between England and Nigeria, scheduled for September 17, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the England vs. Nigeria match originally scheduled for September 17, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, driven by the wisdom of the crowd on Polymarket, aims to reflect the true probabilities as perceived by traders. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, this market dynamically adjusts as more information becomes available and more people participate, potentially revealing discrepancies or areas where the crowd disagrees with conventional wisdom.
This market resolves around Sep 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final, official score of the England vs. Nigeria match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The resolution will be based on the score reported by official sources, ensuring a transparent and verifiable result. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final score and the shares they hold in the corresponding outcome.
Several factors could influence this market before Sep 17, 2026. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the England or Nigeria team would likely cause significant shifts in the odds. Changes in team formations, tactical announcements from the managers, or even weather forecasts for the match location could also impact trader sentiment. Unexpected results in other qualifying matches or friendly games involving these teams might also lead to adjustments in the probabilities, as traders reassess their predictions based on the latest information.
