This market will resolve to "YES" if England reaches a later stage than France in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. "Later stage" is defined as: Group Stage < Round of 32 < Round of 16 < Quarter-finals < Semi-finals < Final < Winner (if both teams reach the Final, the winner is considered to have reached a later stage). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "NO." If at any point it becomes impossible for England to reach a later stage than France (e.g. both teams are eliminated at the same stage, or France advances further), this market will resolve to "NO." If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after July 19, 2026, 23:59 UTC, or the final results of the 2026 FIFA World Cup have not been declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "NO." The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA.com; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.

On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Limitless, this outcome is priced as a binary contract reflecting the probability that England advances further in the 2026 World Cup than France does. The price moves based on order flow, with buyers pushing it higher if they believe England will outperform France, and sellers pushing it lower if they expect the opposite. Liquidity and volume on Limitless determine how quickly prices adjust to new information. As the tournament approaches and group-stage results emerge, the price will converge toward the true outcome, with final settlement occurring after both teams' tournament runs conclude.
The market resolves on Jul 20, 2026, after the 2026 FIFA World Cup concludes. Resolution is determined by comparing the final stage reached by each team. If England advances to a later knockout round than France, or if England remains in the tournament while France is eliminated, the outcome resolves yes. If France reaches an equal or later stage than England, it resolves no. The determination is based on official FIFA tournament records and the bracket progression of both nations through group play and knockout rounds.
Key catalysts include squad announcements, pre-tournament friendlies, and injury updates for both teams' star players. Group-stage draws will significantly impact odds, as a favorable draw for England or difficult draw for France shifts expectations. Early group-stage results are major movers: if England wins decisively while France struggles, the yes price rises sharply. Manager changes, tactical shifts, or public statements from coaches can signal confidence or concern. As the tournament progresses, actual match results become the dominant driver. Late-stage injuries to key players, red cards, or unexpected upsets in related matches also influence how traders assess each team's knockout prospects.
