If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individual traders. If a significant number of people believe a particular outcome is more likely than sportsbooks suggest, the odds on Polymarket will adjust accordingly. This can sometimes lead to more accurate probabilities, as the market incorporates a wider range of information and perspectives than a single sportsbook might.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the prices adjust to reflect the collective prediction. Higher demand for shares in a particular outcome will drive up its price, indicating a greater perceived likelihood. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information available to traders.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final result of the Guingamp vs. Red Star match – the exact score – will be used to determine which shares pay out. The platform will verify the result against official sources to ensure accuracy. Traders who held shares in the correct exact score will receive a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution, while those with shares in incorrect outcomes will not.
Several factors could influence the trading activity and price movement in this market. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in coaching staff, or even weather conditions could impact traders’ perceptions of the likely outcome. Additionally, significant betting activity from large traders or shifts in public sentiment could also cause noticeable price fluctuations. Unexpected announcements related to player availability or tactical changes leading up to the match are also likely to move this market, as traders adjust their predictions based on the latest information.
